These are some paintings I wanted to share with you. I can't seem to go back to a painting so each of these was done in one sitting. Once that time is over I can't seem to want to go back and add, fix, anything. Hmm...wonder why that is? What do you think? I know I don' t have the talent that Jobo got but I do enjoy how it makes me feel. Love you.

sheryl, sorry I took so long to write a comment...I was very touched by your paintings but I needed time to reflect.
One thing in particular that struck me was the emotional perspective that I experienced with each painting...the little black girl looks as if she is waiting in eager wide-eye, innocent anticipation for whatever, much like you as a child...the lady with the umbrella is older, and she is looking ahead into a view that is not in focus yet, the unknown, regardless she is facing whatever lies ahead, perhaps her umbrella helps her to feel somewhat protected.
The last picture, the path itself ahead seems set (in stone) but what lies at the end of the road is still uncertain and the person, not sure what or who she is, but she is wrapped in layers...perhaps the reason you do not feel the need to go back to the paintings is that each one served its purpose of expressing a particular experience or emotion that belongs to you alone and that was the purpose....
How wonderful and happy it makes me feel to see the creative ability that has lain dormant in you for so long to be coming out as it is and in so many ways...I rejoice with you. Embrace yourself, all of yourself, just as God does.
Mama
